Name: Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy Surgical Instruments
Indications for Use:
1. Treatment of upper urinary tract stones (especially stones in the middle and lower segments of the ureter).
For ureteral stones and renal lower calyx stones where rigid ureteroscopy fails due to ureteral tortuosity,
flexible ureteroscopy can be used.
2. Ureteral catheterization (for retrograde pyelography or drainage of obstruction, upper urinary tract urine
leakage, etc.).
3. Removal of upper urinary tract foreign bodies.
4. Endoscopic treatment of upper urinary tract tumors.
5. Dilation or internal incision of upper urinary tract strictures.
6. Removal of fungal plaques in the upper urinary tract.
Description:
This is a minimally invasive surgical procedure primarily aimed at treating ureteral stones and ureteral strictures.
When a patient's urinary tract stones are approximately larger than 1.5 centimeters, ureteroscopy with laser
lithotripsy is generally recommended to facilitate the metabolism of stones.
